Great and delicious selection of cakes, extensive menu, also delicious intermediate dishes. Nice and comfortable furnishings, also a tent to sit outside with skins or blankets. The homemade cookies with coffee and tea are a poem and a pleasure. The master confectioner Ulla Glaß is still competent and very nice to serve herself!

Beer was good, like all beers in the brewery. We didn't drink anything else, except for the cappuccino. Ordered in large, comb first the small one, then the large one came back, later a smaller one ... On the bill we would be charged 2x small and not the big one ... We can't go here anymore

Unfortunately, the employees were completely overwhelmed by the visitor situation - even elementary skills such as friendliness and eye contact were not a matter of course - a shame that the management at this prominent tourist hotspot could not be more competent.

We were able to spend a wonderful weekend in one of the wonderfully furnished apartments. The Glaß family cannot be surpassed in terms of hospitality! The ambience on the terrace is also great and the cakes taste very delicious.

After a tour of the monastery in Alpirsbach, I discovered the pastry shop at the monastery. Of course, I couldn't say no again! This also has been good. Really delicious cakes and pies. And an appropriate selection. A cozy interior invites you to linger. A friendly staff should also be mentioned. That is why I will include this café and pastry shop on my side, "The best bakers in the southwest".

A regular favorite in Alpirsbach, one of the best schwarzwalder kirschtorte in the kinzigtal! Also a peaceful spot to rest and regenarate..

Super Maultaschen and sweets!

Fabulous black forest cake! With outdoor seating, view of the monastery. On the dehor chairs they also provide blankets, in case you were cold. The menu is only in German, but the waitress speaks English very well. The prices are great and nearby there is a convenient free public parking (1.5h hourly drive).

Lovely cafe right next to the Abbey. Sunny terrace with flowers all around. Comfy seats with sheepskins and blankets for when the sun isn't shining. Fantastic Blackforest Gateaux and of course the local beer for those without a sweet tooth. Or have both - I did ;)

Sadly the waitress forgot to process our order and after complaining we got something to trink after more than three-quarters of an hour. She then told us that our food will be prepared now, we told her that we can just wait ten more minutes because we had to leave for the abbey tour. After another twenty minutes of waiting we left the restaurant without having food and they were heading after us because we didn't pay for the drinks (which we didn't touch) and the food. This is not how you treat your customers, better make the restaurant self service then.
